How to extend lifetime of rotary kiln

In mordern cement kiln, refractories play an more and more important role in normal operation.To some degree, the lifetime of cement kiln is subjected to how to maintain refractories performance.

In order to achieve it, more attention must be paid to following points:

1.Dereasing Downtime

Each downtime does some harm to kiln coating,while causes harm to refractories,resulting in refractory spalling.

2.Normal-Load Operation

Severe loaded operation will accelerate the abrasion of refractories and degrade refractory performance.

3.Refractory Installation

Proper refractory installation will highly extend lifetime of refractories.Any improper ways or any damage during installation will heavily affect normal performance of refractories.This is decisive factor.

4.Kiln coating

Thin kiln coating easily results in the exposure of refractory bricks and high temperature of kiln shell.Then clinker melt infiltration will damage refractories directly.

5.Flame shape of burner lance

To keep the shape of flame normal is much more important,otherwise a part of refractory will damaged easily and quickly.

6.Baking of refractory linings

Proper way to bake refractory lining could avoid refractory spalling and increase cost effetiveness.
